Men's Floral on Waverly Place

Trend of the day: Men's Florals.
We love them. Deep coloured tropical prints are everywhere currently so I decided that deep coloured floral prints are part of the mix as well. I'm going with it.
Here are my three favorite florals ATM.
Favorite men's floral number one: Blue with Daises from a Joe Fresh in Toronto. I love the short sleeve button-up with high waisted dress pants. It's a sexy, vintage silhouette for men. Daises and sunflowers were also a theme in the 90s. I think this is another reason I love this shirt.
Joe Fresh Daisy Button-up: $35
Favorite men's floral number two: Red Daisies from Topman on Broadway in Soho.
Absolutely obsessed with this print. Topman never does me wrong.
I used to only wear Topman when I was younger....
now I can't afford it.
 #life #grownupworldsucks
I decided to treat myself for this red, white, and blue beauty.
The cut is great. The flowers are groovy. I digggggg.
Red, White, and Blue Daisies by Topman: $55
Favorite men's floral number three: Vintage Groovy Orange Floral
I semi-lust for this print. I found this groovy-ass polyester when I was on a business trip last year. I rented a car and drove to DC. Along the way, I stopped at three Goodwills in backkkwoods Virginia/NC/etc......found a Goodwill that hadn't been touched since idk the 80s.
THIS was one of the many things I bought that day.
70's Orange and White Groovy Floral: $10
Throw on a floral baby.

Because we're obsessed.

DIY: Men's Spring into Summer Vision Board

m- Every season Courtney and I try to throw together a fashion-inspired vision board for fun.
True believers in the Law of Attraction, we think there is strong power in visualizing what you desire. Today I made a Spring into Summer vision board and I love it aleady. Living in Bushwick and working in Chelsea, has really kept me excited in switching up my street style every day.
This is alwaysssss a fun DIY. Get stimulated.Get inspired. :)
Change in season, change in reason.
This project is nothing far from the collages you've made your whole life.
This just has a little more purpose.
The Barnes and Nobel in Union Square is usually my retreat when Spring rain suddenly happens. I stop on the third floor to grab a few magazines, then head upstairs to sit and flip through. You can stay as long as you want. It's quite nice. Don't tell anybody.
Today I decided to buy two magazines- I'm usually too broke to bring them home. #nyclife

1. British GQ Style: Spring-Summer 2014
-When given the option, I always, always choose the UK edition over any other. The Brits are always ahead of the game. Plus the white-boy style is perfect for me. :)

2. Fantastic Man: Spring 2014
-Fantastic Man is my favorite men's fashion magazine at the moment. The layout is clean and classic. Straight out of Holland, the fashion is European in cut and classic in color-pallete. Plus 90's Euro(trash) is super on trend right now. Super on point.
Find something sturdy to paste your pics on. I could only find a box.
The shape turned out cool though. I love crafts whew.
Leo! Babe! Showing us what's good.
Hawaiian print is the new plaid....sure. We'll take it. I've always thought vintage Hawaiian shirts are sexy when done right. Check out our blogpost from last Summer with Lori Wyatt in Charleston. The Hawaiian shirts that everyone is coveting are super deep and rich in color. I love. Will definitely have some more of these in my close soon. Thanks Leo.
White.
All white everything. This is what I need after a winter in a warehouse with no windows in
New York. White. Sun.
All white outfits are pristine and make you look freaking great.
It's like a white box of natural of light is following you around all day to make you glow.
And it's great for warm days to come.

My Spring and Summer summarized: High waisted trousers. Short shorts. Vintage everything. Lightwash denim. White.
and mushrooms.
Also going to try out this no-shirt, just bandana thing. Working on my fitness but I think I can make it work come summer festival time.
I've got my plan down and Im excited about it. Now I'm going to start finding these things on the street. So fun to inVISION. If you think it, if you see it, it will be. Yessssssss warm weather.

#selfies & Amarepare

But first, let me take a #selfie.
American Apparel just has good lighting, ya know? And bright colorsssss and 80s sweatshop vibessss. It's a perfect selfie spot.
I have a lot of fun putting my outfits together for a day at work at aa. My outfit on the left consists of American Apparel's Camel Work Pant, red valour sweatshirt, and light denim short sleeve underneath. I love the work pants. They remind me of Carharrts from home. Lol. On the right, I paired my Yacht Stipe Fisherman Pullover  with my light-wash Regular fit 100's.
Classic American Converses to top off the look.
ALWAYS wearing my vintage deadstock gold Casio from aa.
Can you guys help me pick a filter? Haha the one on the left is ridiculous. Loved the outfit though. I cant remember the name of the cream sweater around my waist but it's also from American Apparel. This sweater is super soft and comfy. It's also super big (one huge size fits all)
I don't know if I should go with XX Pro or Valencia.

Wait, pause. Jason just liked my selfie.

There's no vodka at this table. Do you know anyone else here?

Because we're obsessed.

No Print Left Behind

PRINTS. Love em. Live for em.
Today Kearlo and I had a little kiki and ventured under the tracks for some pics.
Alex and I have a lot of crazy prints that need to be shot, so it was time to jump on it.
This is one of my favorite vintage prints I own. There are leopards, zebras, and the occasional elephant. I LOVE the details of this top. Ten Dollars. Goodwill. HELLO.
Also, see the little bolo tie I've got there? Found this Chevy bolo on the floor of my warehouse in Williamsburg. On the floor. It came to me via immaculate fashion conception. I will never take it off.
Alex's print of choice is this fab mix of colors from American Apparel. The color pallet is wonderfully warm with eggplant, olive green, orange, and details of brown. Love this print.
Kearlo's OOTD.
Alex paired his print with this BOMB maroon leather Member's Only. I envy Alex every time he wears this. Perfect for this time of year. That color though....
My OOTD.
I paired my animal party with my favorite article of clothing of all time- my 100's from American Apparel. I literally don't take off these light-washed jeans. The high waist does me GOOD. And the camel toe is for everyone! I accessorized with American Apparel fingerless gloves, black skinny belt, and black boots from Urban.
Williamsburg always gives us life.

Loving the prints of the day. Remember that no print is too crazy. No print left behind.

Because we're obsessed.
