Alexa Loves Makeup Moves to Manhattan

The ever-stunning Alexa Regimond is moving to the big city.

Armed with much more than a makeup brush, Alexa will sure to rock some New York.
Watch her makeup videos. She can put on a face.
Alexa is such an awesome spirit. It's going to be so great to have her in the same city.
Alexa was wearing this awesome tope Furla bag that she borrowed from her aunt for the afternoon. Alexa and I met up to catch up and grab a dirty burger around Flatiron.
Of course I had to snap a couple of pics of beautiful Alexa and adjoining beautiful purse.
Love the Furla bag.
Being the fashion blogger (diva) that I am, I had to get a picture of my #ootd...
I wore a plum long sleeve from Topman, tucked into my houndstooth trousers from Uniqlo. On top, I wore a black jacket over a long, cream sweater cardigan-both from Zara. I was super warm in this outfit and I think it was chic enough for a little midtown visit with Alexa l0ves makeup.

Love you Alexa. Can't wait to play.

WTFashionati in the LES

Spent a foggy day with Cassie in the Lower Eastside to get some street shots for Cassie's blog
We The Fashionati. Make sure to check her out. Anyway, today Cassie brought some fab modeling, and that beautiful face of hers. Great way to spend the morning.
This is a city girl outfit. You've got to be able to move, walk, shed a layer, and keep all your shit with you at the same time. AND (for the ladies) you have to cover yourself appropriately. I mean, if you care about those things. Cassie did all of these things.
Looking Lovely, Cass.

Cassie and these pictures were featured in a fashion blog called Hello Perfect. Check it out.

European Fashion: September in Spain.

m- The ancient city of Granada, Spain. Granada (Spanish for pomegranate) is a fantasy of a city nestled into the bottom of the great Spanish Sierra Nevada mountains just an hour from the Mediterranean coast. Home to the Moorish citadel of the Alhambra, and the mystical flamenco performances put on by gypsies in the caves of the Nevadas, this city is truly one of a kind. There is nothing more inspiring to my fashion senses than traveling. And whats more inspiring than an ancient Moorish village?

The Ancient city of Alhambra. "Don't call my name, don't call my name...Alhambra." -Micaela

This rustic door on the cobblestone streets of a wealthy village just outside of Granada was home to fantastic views of the city and the Sierra Nevadas. Naturally, I tried to dress to the mood of the atmosphere of the day. Neutral tones respected the city's cracks and history. This shirt from the Zara in the city caught my eye because of the wooden toggles and navy hounds tooth on the collar. Perfectly fitted and full of texture, this shirt was an awesome find. Topman denim boots and H&M shorts finished off this look, perfect for a walk through thousands of years of history.

My favorite part of Granada, was to no surprise, the shopping. Middle Eastern street vendors lined the streets, filling the air with life. Handmade textiles, leather sandals, and silver rings were on display as far as the eye could see. Every vendor ready to make a sale. This handmade leather bag was my adventure of the day. I took it way back to the days of bartering and managed to talk down this bag from 70 euro to just 40! Bad for them, good for you.

We know that it's September and its about time to pull out the fall wardrobe. However, if you're somewhere like Southern Spain or back at home in Wilmington, North Carolina....its still hot. We decided to celebrate fall by bringing a fall color pallet but keeping cool in shorts. (Topman) White short-sleeved oxford by American Apparel. Camel belt by Topman Paris.

Hasta luego Granada.

Let's Give this a Shot

Our first blog post! Hello! Michael and Courtney here. Lately we've been COMPLETELY obsessed with personal style and taking pictures of anything and everything. After visiting London this past spring, we both delved into our personal styles started expressing ourselves through clothes more than ever before. So we started a fashion blog and we are going to play around for a little while.
Let's give this a shot.

Right now we are digging 70s trends.

Late summer sun has made us break out the pants and start bringing warmer, more natural color pallets to our everyday. Our color pallet today was inspired by that 70's brown. You know what I'm talking about. More specifically, we channeled a 70's safari vibe this afternoon. See hat above.

Courtney is looking foxy in her outfit today.

Shoes: $30 at Forever 21
White Tank: $20 at American Apparel
Vintage Trousers: $15 at Second Time Around Wilmington
Hat: $15 at Express

These heels are chunky and another hue of that 70's brown we were talking about.
Michael's outfit also was inspired by vintage safari. A light, white oxford from American Apparel is a perfect addition to a summer outfit. It's cool on your body and makes your summer tan look all the better. Mustard was Michael's interpretation of the 70's brown today.
Shirt: $35 at American Apparel
Jeans: 29 euro at Zara
Bowtie: $20 American Apparel
Belt: $5 at Goodwill
Boots: $75 Topman
Leather Backpack: 35 euro in Granada

Our first message: EXPRESS YOURSELF. Wear what the hell you want. You look better when you're you. Our second message: You don't have to have money to have sick style. We'll try our best to prove this. And our third message....idk we'll get back to you.
We had a really effing good time putting this blog post together. We have a feeling that this is something we will do much more often.

Because we're obsessed.
