pleated & pointed colorful daze.

Meet Keally.
We first met each other in our Women's Studies literature class. I would always have her look over my papers because of her fiercely accurate editing skills.
Keally also has a great style and colorful tattoos.  Her house, downtown Wilmington, and a quick bike ride on a truly gorgeous day provided us the perfect opportunity to capture Keally's style and what it's like living in downtown Wilmington.
Pleated skirts are such a great trend continuing into this spring.  A nude color like this one is adorably paired with a black bow. I am such a huge fan of blazers and the ivory color + lace is a lovely mixture she found at Forever 21.  You don't need a heel when you're pairing with shoes that have a pointed toe! Pointy toes are back and hopefully to stay because they naturally elongate the legs. They also pair well with the point of her cat eye sunglasses. Enough from me, Keally is going to take over.

The downtown scene definitely emits a funkier vibe than the College Road area and has inspired me to visit the downtown thrift stores more.
Kelsey at The Wonder Shop treated me wonderfully when I went to look for vintage vests! And bolder looks just fly more freely on Front and Grace, so take this upcoming spring season to mix patterns, add some neutral laces in your closet, and pair a pleat with denim.
The more bold, the more beautiful.

What to wear on St. Patricks Day: patty melts.

Happy Saint Patricks Day! We hope everyone had a killer St. Patty's Day, full of green and the luck of the Irish. Our St. Patrick's day weekend was spent in the lovely, Charleston, South Carolina with the even more lovely- Carissa! This fashion trio took a little break between shoots with Vintage Extraordinaire, Lori Wyatt to venture in to town and show off our green.
Carissa is wearing Lori Wyatt's gorgeous vintage owl necklace.  I am wearing another one of her gorgeous vintage necklaces. I can't get over the way this necklace falls, so dainty yet amazingly unique. Nothing tops of an outfit like a great pair of heels.  Carissa is wearing Steve Madden while I'm sporting my snakeskin Jeffrey Campbell's.  Thick wedges and chunky heels made for an easy day walking around the town of Charleston.
Carissa here! So glad I could join the Fresh and Precious duo for Saint Patty's weekend. We had a blast dressing up in Lori Wyatts amazing Vintage Collection. I always have fun taking photos with my opposite twin, we work so well together!
Bow ties are always a great way to top off an outfit. It was hard to match this glorious plaid shirt but Courtney found this perfect little chocolate gem in the depths of Lori's glorious mountains of vintage.
Green dresses and Juicy Couture bags. Opposite twins.

trendspotting.

m- I've had these pictures foreverrrrrr and I didn't know what to do with them...so I've decided to share them.  Working for Jess and Madeline has been such a treat lately because these women are phenomenal at what they do. Jess has a beautiful collection of vintage pieces that are trendy and ready to be worn! Today we snapped some pictures for Jess' Etsy account and had some awesome results.
Current Fashion Trend: Polka dots and sheer.

When shopping for spring dresses, keeping sleeves and adding pattern or color is key.
Polka dots are fun. Sheer is sexy.

Current Fashion Trend: Pink
Current Fashion Trend: Hats.

Hats are all the rage this spring. Pairing them with swimwear for a beach look is always an appropriate way to wear hats. Here, Madeline is wearing an outfit that has the tuxedo trend vibe.  The ruffled sleeves and colored shorts make this outfit really fun and stylish.  A tie on the bottom of this hat adds a unique touch and the vibrant color pop.
Current Fashion Trend: Pales, pastels, and layered chunky necklaces.
Button your collar up and add a necklace with some personality.

These Messeca  shoes. Literally die for them. Absolutely love the wooden chunky platform heel.
As you can see, they are very versatile and such a great staple piece.

Current Fashion Trend: Vintage Prints
A good print can go a long way. Find one that you love. Rock it.
Rock the trends your way.

DIY: vision board.

c- I recently got inspired by our upcoming Fresh & Precious fashion show to make a vision board. To me, a vision board is a way to layout my fashion obsessions through inspiring outfits and ideas.
After scoring these two bulletin boards on sale at a craft store, I decided to personalize the boarder of one with my new animal print duct tape....
I love it.
Duct tape is the perfect low budget way to personalize your boards!
My vision board mixes a little bit of transitional fashion from winter to spring, as well as the bold colors, patterns, and wedges im obsessing over this spring season.
I need Michael to help me more with styling men and creating a vision for the fellas.
Check out the fella's DIY vision board here.
"March is for making plans"
A Bulletin board, magazines, scissors, and thumb tacks are all you need to make your visions organized and visible. Your board can contain anything you want...
options are limitless.

Do it yourself! Get creative. Not to mention it's fun and harmless.

Because we're obsessed.
